Hi everyone, thanks for joining us this week to talk about staying in touch while on a cruise. Let's get started.
From the blog, Marilyn Gray says: "I recently returned from a 17 day South Pacific cruise on Oceania’s Marina where free internet was included. What a difference that made with staying in touch as well as researching upcoming ports and even booking excursions while on board."
From the blog, Mailman3616 asks: "Wife and I will be doing B2B on Allure in 3 weeks. We would like to text back and forth as a way to stay in touch on the ship. How would that work? Is there a way to do it without being charged?"
Cruise lines are talking about using the ship's Wi-Fi to push messaging to passengers' phones -- like there are still spa appointments available or there's still space left at such and such restaurant for tonight. Would you appreciate this?
Ok, that's all the time we've got for today. Join us again next week when we talk onboard entertainment. Thanks everyone!
