How do we top our 175th year? 2015 was a very special anniversary year indeed and truly showed the remarkable heritage and love around the world for Cunard, but events attracting 1.3m spectators, as we had in Liverpool, are partly so special because they are rare. That said, we will always look to rise to the challenge and Queen Mary 2's refit in 2016 will give us a great opportunity to once again shine a light on this great brand.
Thank you for your question about Queen Mary 2 transitting the Panama Canal. Unforunately, Queen Mary 2 is too high to fit under the Bridge of the Americas on the Pacific side.
Gregg...ref Northern Lights.....on my bucket list too!......as I am sure you know, there is no guarantee as to when we see the Northern Lights. However, the further north you go, the better the chance you have of seeing the lights. The furthest north, Cunard goes in 2016 is QM2 in August on M614, when we call at Trondheim.
Hi Bogof1. Guests are able to proceed to their cabin on embarkation, there is no need to carry your hand luggage around with you at all.

Regarding dining preferences, a benefit of purchasing our standard Cunard Fare is that you'll have priority choice of dining time and table size, with the next level of priority given to those purchasing Early Saver Fares. With the discount offered on Saver fares (when available), we do not collect preferences. Table allocations are assigned by the Maitre D' onboard, based on fare type and booking date order. As preferences often change, we do not currently store these on our systems.
Thank you for your question about the Royal Ascot Ball dress code. The dress code isn't compulsory; this is in addition to a formal evening, so it's entirely optional but an added theme to the evening. You are able to hire the morning coat on board but we aren’t able to provide top hats. I hope that answers your question.
Regular Cruiser, never say never, but to be honest we get such great insight from our regular guests that to date we haven't seen a need for mystery shoppers.
